In the last few years we seem to have witnessed the wonders of Mother Nature, going from the debilitating effects of drought to what we are experiencing at the moment in Brisbane….rain, rain and more rain!! Whilst I absolutely love the abundance of such a life sustaining commodity…..it really does very little for a family portraiture session!! Unfortunately the weather had us postponing our session with this gorgeous family, but the weather Gods played nicely on Saturday afternoon, giving me just a small window of opportunity to finally meet up with handsome young Ollie and the divine Miss Niamh. As the dark storm clouds gave us a *ahem* dramatic backdrop over the dam, I couldn’t of asked for a more perfect afternoon (ok, so the wet dash to the car at the end could of been a touch different…but you get the drift!!)
Thank you K & M for taking a risk on the weather with me on Saturday, I loved every second of our session!! Your gallery will indeed be ready for Christmas.

All it took for sweet little Imogen to fall into slumber was a full belly, a cuddle from Mum and we were on our way! If only all newborns were this easy to keep content!!
Congratulations Kristy, I will be in touch shortly with the rest of your gallery.

As a photographer, I am proud to be a member of Australian Community of Child Photographers (ACOCP). I have met some very special people, all who have invited me into such a personal and raw times of their lives. Last week, I was invited into the world of tiny Jenson. Already 4 weeks old, Jenson was born at just over 25 weeks gestation and weighing less than 1kg. In essence, he is a testament to the fact that sometimes miracles can, and do happen. In the short time I spent with Jenson, I witnessed the pure determination and inner strength that can exist in such a small package. He still has a long journey ahead of him, but Jenson has an unmistakable advantage - being surrounded by a very strong and loving family unit.

And my favourite image from the session….I think Jenson says it all.

Gorgeous little Zaide celebrated his first week of life by suddenly becomming very aware of his surroundings!! However after a lot of feeding, patting, swaying and wishful thinking he finally drifted off into slumber.
Thank you Karlie and Matt for bring him over, was lovely to meet you both. Will be in touch shortly.
