“Family ties are precious threads, no matter where we roam, they draw us
close to those we love, and pull our hearts toward home.”
There are many reasons I love Christmas, but I think one of the most important is that it’s a specific time, once a year, that the whole family tries to come together. With most families, there comes a time though, that the numbers begin to increase and the distance to travel grows further!
One family that continues to come together from all corners of Australia, is my good friend Jen’s. I have known Jen for a few years now, we have shared so many memories through Uni, upon meeting our future husbands, marrying them and then creating our own families….strangely enough, we both have 3 boys each…. as in 6 boys aged 5 and under! This year, Jen’s family all came together in Brisbane to celebrate the season, and to my delight/surprise/panic Jen asked if I could capture the clan together!!
