In the previous entry I mentioned that the wedding of Margaret and Grant was straight out of a fairytale dream…… well I believe this may have been the precise moment when that tale became a reality!

I have often heard of brides wanting to create their fairytale dream wedding and before now, I’ve never really understood what that meant!! However, on Saturday I received a full education as to what it entails to have that fairytale dream wedding! Margaret and Grant really gave no clues to just how beautiful and detailed their wedding day would be when I first spoke to them, but their wedding day left me simply breathless!
Congratulations Margaret and Grant, wishing you every blessing as you continue your dreams together.
Also, I wouldn’t have been able to cover the day without the wonderful help and support of both Kylie and Russell - thank you!!
Just to add a special touch, behind them is where the fairytale all begun - Grant bravely proposed to Margaret atop of the Brisbane’s Storey Bridge…..

Sometimes when you meet a soon-to-be married couple they are giddy with excitment, others you meet will be completely focused on their special day together…and occassionally you will meet a couple like Grant and Margaret who are two souls that are simply meant to be one - completely comfortable and intune with each other.
In a few short days, these two will be becomming one “officially” and I will be honoured to not only be witness to their vows, but will also be capturing it on film (ahem, digital files) for them!

When photographing children like this gorgeous little 10 (and a half!) month old Flynn, it makes it very hard to not want to bundle them up and take them home! But on Saturday morning, the rain clouds (and I’m talking mean and nasty cumulonimbus cloud action!) held off long enough for me to spend some time with this stunning family, who welcomed me into their equally stunning home! Flynn is the first to toddle the floors of Charmaine and Patrick’s home, and clearly he is one very happy little man, who gave me his all!
Was wonderful to meet you Charmaine and Pat, thank you for having me on Saturday and I’ll be in touch shortly with the rest of your images.

On Sunday I had the absolute pleasure of witnessing the marriage of Kaval and Manoj. Not only did the storm clouds and rain disappear with precise timing for Kaval’s arrival, but Mother Nature provided us with the most perfect winter afternoon that you could ever wish for.
